The two Detox units and Cochran Programs, Inc. are components of this corporation. DETOX is a sub-acute medical detoxification center benefiting the eleven county metropolitan area and numerous counties surrounding Crow Wing County in Minnesota. The centers serve male and female patients, ages twelve and older, in two staffed units in Hastings, and one Co-ed unit in Brainerd. Our 10 bed female unit in Hastings has been remodeled to better meet the patients' needs. The average length of stay for most patients is two to three days. COCHRAN HOUSE is a 60-bed halfway house for men 18 years and older. This program is ideal for individuals who have completed a primary treatment program and need to develop independent living skills while stabilizing their recovery. We offer issue-specific men's groups, workshops, financial planning, job seeking skills and placement, transportation and adult education seminars. Our goal is for the client to become secure in their recovery and to be self-sufficient. COCHRAN CENTER is a 12-bed extended care facility which provides long-term residential treatment services within a structured living environment for men 18 years and older. This program is ideal for the severely chemically dependent individual who has had prior treatment experiences.
